Rachel Zack is the Director of Policy at Remix. Her passion for empowering planners with access to insights for better decision-making stem from her many years of advising on cutting edge transportation problems, such as TNC regulation (Uber and Lyft), road usage pricing, congestion pricing, express lanes, and planning for autonomous vehicles. Before joining Remix, Rachel launched the Innovative Mobility arm of WSP where she led alternative transportation programs around the Bay Area and advised city and state agencies on strategic planning for new mobility. Her work in the field received the Caltrans Excellence in Transportation Award in WTS Innovative Transportation Solutions Award.

Kevin Ocubillo

Transportation Planner at LADOT

Kevin Ocubillo is a Transportation Planner at LADOT and focuses on advancing an equitable community engagement framework. This means centering the lived experiences of all residents within a project area in every stage of project development lifecycle. Kevin’s expertise include urban design, land use policy and transportation infrastructure.

Darnell Grisby

Executive Director at TransForm

Darnell is a national thought leader in transportation policy and the mobility justice movement. He has deep expertise in transportation policy and funding, anti-racist initiatives, housing affordability, transit-oriented development, and the intersection of transportation and housing finance. Darnell is the former Director of Policy Development for the American Public Transportation Association, policy lead for a national smart-growth think tank, and a senior advisor in the California Legislature. He is currently Executive Director at TransForm, a leading advocate for equitable, sustainable transportation and land use policy in California. Darnell has been quoted or featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, and Bloomberg. He has degrees from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and UCLA.

Jessica Jinn

Climate Advisor to the City of Los Angeles

Jessica is a Climate Advisor with the Natural Resources Defense Council working with the LA Mayor's Office of Sustainability and LADOT on advancing sustainable transportation projects. She has many years of experience in vehicle electrification, including education and outreach and research and analysis. In addition, she has spent time in the social justice world, developing awareness campaigns for a broad range of issues. These experiences have been instrumental in her desire to pursue projects at the intersection between equity and transportation.
